And so it begins...

Actually, it began 3 weeks and one day ago when Mason showed us his true colors by putting mommy into labor on Labor Day, 2012.  At 8:41pm, our blue eyed, blondish/brownish/reddish haired little monkey was born weighing 7lbs 15oz and measuring 21" long.  Just like his daddy, long and skinny!  He was one giant ball of perfection, stealing the hearts of his parents, Saba, Safta, Ganny and Gampa immediately.

Three weeks and hundreds of pictures of later, Daddy and Mommy decided a blog would be the best way to keep our family and friends updated on our little monkey and everything else that our crazy family encounters.  We promise a post every day, even if it is just a picture of our little guy to show how quickly he is already growing. Some days we will let you know some of the exciting outings he is going on, new stages of development he's hitting, or even the cute and funny things that happen around our house.

Check in daily for your dose of our Big Monkey Family, periodically we may even talk about how Mommy and Daddy are surviving!  In the meantime, here are a few adorable pictures for you to "ooh" and "ahh" over!  Enjoy!
